Build a data table

Modified on Wed, 11 Dec, 2024 at 10:27 PM

You can create data table(s) on Analyse using the datasets available to you.

Navigating To Analyse

  • To navigate to Analyse from the main login page, select the hamburger icon ☰ and select Analyse from the dropdown list.

Create A New Data Table

  • On Analyse, select 'Create a new table'.
  • Under the Data Hub panel on the left side of the table builder, select the dataset in which you would like to pull datapoints from.

  • From the selected dataset(s), select the variables you would like to include in your data table and drag them to the 'Drag a variable in to generate a table' field.

Note: You can include multiple variables at one go into your data table by holding down the Shift key and selecting the datapoints with your mouse. If you are pulling variables one at a time, ensure that you see a thick green line along the border of other variable (under/above/ left/ right) before letting go of your mouse. This will ensure that the variable is loaded into the data table.

Adding Filter(s) Into Your Data Table

  • In the table builder, drag the respective variable(s) into the 'Drag a variable in as a global filter (filter applies to all data in the table)' field. This filter will now apply to all variables of the data table you are building.
