In Studio, you can create and configure weightframes to use and apply to your data for more nuanced analysis later on.
Navigating to Studio
- To navigate to Studio from the main login page, select the 'hamburger' icon and select Studio from the dropdown list. Under Studio, you would be able to view any surveys you have created and/or made available for you to access.
- In Studio, navigate to your existing study or create a new study.
Navigating To Set Up Weight Frames In Your Study
- In your study, navigate to the Weight Frame tab on the left panel in Studio. (*Note: you can only create weight frames after your study is published)

Creating Weight Frames For Your Dataset
- Under the Weight Frame tab, select '+Add Weight Frame' to create a new weight frame. This will generate a weight frame set, and a subsequent step that allows you to '+Add weight segment'. (*Tip: you may rename your weight frames by hovering over the title of the weight frame and select the pencil icon that pops up to edit its title)
- Under the Weight Segment section, drag and drop the variable you would like to create weight segments for. Next, assign the specific % weight you would like to give to each option within the respective variable. Select 'Save' once you are happy with your edits.

- You may also control the visibility of the weight frame and/or individual weight segment(s) through the Visible in Analyse button. This controls if they can be seen and used in Analyse (find out more about how to use weight frames and/ or segments in Analyse here)
