TABLE OF CONTENTS

User Admin Console

  • [Feature Release]: Enhancements to managing account usage cycles on Canvas 2.0
    • For enhanced platform security and account management, account usage measures have been implemented:
      • Reminder emails are sent to users after 30, 60 and 80 days of inactivity
      • Past 90 days, inactive users will be suspended automatically
      • For suspended users, users with 'organisation owner' or 'admin' level permissions on Canvas 2.0 can unsuspend users through the user profile interface

Studio

  • [Feature Update]: Enhancement to system stability on Visual Editor when scripting
    • Enhancements are made to optimise platform stability and user experience when scripting on the Visual Editor with the introduction of a 'holding' mechanic that disallows the user from making further edits and/or preview the script for up to 5 minutes (depending on the rate of saving due to script complexity). This is to prevent instances of continous rapid edits/ saves being made that could impact performance of the Visual Editor.
    • Should the save fail during an instance when the user tries to save, an error message will appear to advise on next steps and editor would remain locked.

  • [Bug Update/ Fix]: Text in Call-To-Action (CTA) button on reminder emails defaulting to unintended text
    • Applies to studies/ projects that have a pipeline sending out invites via email: CTA button at the bottom of the reminder emails defaults to having the text reflected as 'cta' when the user clicks ‘Send’ without changing the text in ‘Invite button label’ field under the template editor for reminder emails.
    • The known issue has since been fixed and is now working as intended.

Analyse

  • [UI/ UX Update/ Fix]: Enhancements to tooltips for variables under 'Distribution Niche' section in variable panel for better user experience
    • Enhancements made to the copy of tooltips for variables under 'Distribution Niche' section in variable panel of Analyse for better clarity and direction for users.

  • [Bug Update/ Fix]: Weighting variable not rendering in data tables properly when dragged into table editor on Analyse
    • When dragged from the variable panel to the table editor in Analyse, columns with weighting variables applied do not responsively load upon this initial action by the user and would only load after the page is refreshed.
    • Additionally, the displayed information (e.g. values) for the weighting variable is not reflecting as expected, even after the first page refresh. The information will only reflect correctly when the page is refreshed for the second time.
    •  The known issues has since been fixed and is now working as intended.

  • [Bug Update/ Fix]: Horizontal SUM function not adding up to 100% when weighting variables are applied to data tables
    • When a weighting variable is applied onto a data table in Analyse, the horizontal SUM of the row in question to which is applied does not add up to 100% as it should. The known issue has since been fixed and is now working as intended.

Visualise

  • [Bug Fix/ Update]: UI showing pie chart error message even when user tries to introduce a second variable into non-pie charts
    • When user creates a chart (including charts that are NOT pie charts) and attempts to introduce a second variable in, they experience an error message that they are not able to cross this variable with a pie chart. However, the chart can still be rendered. The known issue has since been fixed and is now working as intended.
