In Studio, you can create data pipelines that could help you disseminate your surveys through emails to desired recipients.
- When setting up the pipeline that distributes the survey via email, you can also set the relevant market(s) the pipeline is for as well as toggle any advanced settings if needed. Once done with your preferred settings under the 'Add data pipeline' pop-up box, select 'Add'.
For the respective pipeline that you have just created, you would be able to select the (i) 'Audience Group' and/or (ii) 'Email Template' option(s) under the respective pipeline.
Setting your audience group for the survey
- Under the 'Audience Group' field, you can select the audience group you wish to send the survey to. This audience group can be one that you have pre-created or if you do not have an existing audience group, you can create a new one by selecting the 'Create new audience group' option in the dropdown list.
- From this 'Audience Group' section, you can also additionally configure who you specifically wish to include/ exclude within this selected audience group.
Creating your email template
- Under the 'Email Template' field, you can the content of the email that would be sent to the recipients, with it containing access to the survey. From this field, you would be able to customise the following fields:
- From Name: Content that appears as the email sender name.
- Reply-To Email: Email address that replies would be sent to (should a recipient decide to e.g. contact the organisers of the survey).
- Subject: Title of the email that is shown.
- Message: Body of content that would appear in the email send to recipients.
- You can also send a email preview to yourself by selecting the 'Preview email' button of the tab. Once you are happy with the email template that you have created, select 'Save template' to save your changes.
Sending your email
- Under the main pipeline configuration, select the 'Send email' button once you are ready for the system to send the email to indicated recipients (Note: your survey would have to be published before the 'Send email' button is allowed to be triggered.).
- Note: After the initial email is sent, you would be able to send a reminder email through the system after 24 hours.
